A statement from our Principal, Lee Hagipantelis
In February 2025, Brydens Lawyers became aware that they had experienced a cyber incident which resulted in unauthorised access to some data on its servers. We are continuing to take this breach very seriously and have reported the incident to the Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the Australian Taxation Office.
We have been working with specialist advisors to determine what information is involved and the scale of the impact. We are continuing to work with the relevant parties to ensure that all appropriate steps are taken and are in the process of notifying impacted individuals as required to provide guidance and support. We can confirm that the security of our IT system has been restored.
